Korban Pesach: Form Your Chabura Before the Deadline קרבן פסח: הקימו חבורה לפני המועד האחרון
All individuals must be registered in a chabura (group) before the Korban Pesach is slaughtered on 14 Nisan. Registration is locked at the time of slaughter. Plan ahead — purification takes 7 days. כל אדם חייב להיות רשום בחבורה לפני ששוחטים את קרבן הפסח בי"ד ניסן. הרישום ננעל בזמן השחיטה. תכננו מראש — טהרה נמשכת 7 ימים.

7 Nisan ז׳ ניסן Wed, March 25 יום רביעי, 25 במרץ
Last day to begin purification. The process requires sprinkling on days 3 and 7. Starting later than 7 Nisan means you will not be pure in time for the sacrifice. יום אחרון להתחלת טהרה. התהליך דורש הזאה ביום 3 וביום 7. התחלה מאוחר מז׳ ניסן פירושה שלא תהיו טהורים בזמן לקרבן.
10 Nisan י׳ ניסן Shabbat, March 28 שבת, 28 במרץ
Lamb or goat selection. The animal (seh) must be set aside and inspected for blemishes. Your chabura should be finalized by this date. Note: 10 Nisan falls on Shabbat this year (Shabbat HaGadol). בחירת השה. יש להפריש את הבהמה (שה) ולבדוק אותה ממומים. החבורה צריכה להיות מגובשת עד תאריך זה. שימו לב: י׳ ניסן חל בשבת השנה (שבת הגדול).

14 Nisan י״ד ניסן Wed, April 1 יום רביעי, 1 באפריל
Korban Pesach slaughter. Afternoon, after the daily tamid offering. Three groups rotate through the Temple courtyard. Levites sing Hallel. Registration is permanently locked at the time of slaughter. שחיטת קרבן הפסח. אחר הצהריים, לאחר תמיד של בין הערביים. שלוש כיתות מתחלפות בעזרה. הלויים שרים הלל. הרישום ננעל לצמיתות בזמן השחיטה.
15 Nisan ט״ו ניסן Wed eve, April 1 ליל רביעי, 1 באפריל
Seder night. The korban is roasted whole and eaten with your chabura within Jerusalem. Each member must consume at least a kezayit (olive-sized portion). No bones may be broken. ליל הסדר. הקרבן נצלה שלם ונאכל עם החבורה בתוך ירושלים. כל חבר חייב לאכול לפחות כזית. אין לשבור עצמות.
Chabura Requirements דרישות החבורה
- Every participant must be able to eat at least a kezayit of the korban כל משתתף חייב להיות מסוגל לאכול לפחות כזית מהקרבן
- Men, women, and children who can eat are eligible גברים, נשים וילדים שיכולים לאכול כשרים להשתתף
- The seh (lamb or goat) must be male, under one year old, and free of blemishes השה (כבש או עז) חייב להיות זכר, בן שנתו, וללא מומים
- All members must be ritually pure by the time of slaughter כל החברים חייבים להיות טהורים עד זמן השחיטה
- The korban must be consumed within Jerusalem before dawn of 15 Nisan הקרבן חייב להיאכל בתוך ירושלים לפני עלות השחר של ט"ו ניסן
