Do people overseas still need to keep two days of Yom Tov? האם יהודים בחו"ל עדיין צריכים לשמור יומיים של יום טוב?

The original reason for keeping two days of Pesach (and other holidays) overseas was the uncertainty of when the new month was declared — messengers could not reach distant communities in time. The reason that we still keep two days while still in Goli’s even though we have a Fixed calendar is because 1. Minhag Yisroel Torah Hee. A Jewish custom becomes part of Torah.
2. Maalin Bakodesh Veein Moridin.,we add in holiness and do not subtract.
For both these reasons, we would seem to say that we will have two days of Yom Tov, even after Moshiach הסיבה שאנחנו עדיין שומרים יומיים בזמן שאנחנו עדיין בגלות, למרות שיש לנו לוח שנה קבוע היא בגלל 1. מנהג ישראל תורה הוא. מנהג יהודי הופך לחלק מהתורה.
2. מעלין בקודש ואין מורידין. אנחנו מוסיפים קדושה ולא גורעים.
משתי הסיבות הללו, נראה שיהיו לנו יומיים של יום טוב, אפילו לעתיד לבוא.

The historical reason for יום טוב שני was because of a ספק about when the month began if one lived in a location far from ירושלים.
